Another picture of Rei's childhood… it hurt me so much drawing this picture and write this story.
But's it part of his childhood and a very important event that has a lot of influences on Rei's future personality. It's sad but I hope you still like it q.q
also please liste to this whole while reading www.youtube.com/watch?v=69dioV…;
it#s perfect for them ( I stole this one from my dearrest KeikoLysea <3)

This day actually started out good. Rei spent some time with his father. They were hiking, searching for some rare plants. Father Yoshida wanted to teach him the meaning of the plants, and how they can help people.

They were on their way back home, since he became more and more cloudy and it looked like it was about to start raining. You could see some lightnings and hear thunders already but it wasn't too dangerous since the lightnings were still pretty far away. As they reached the Konoha gate, they could tell something was wrong. The streets were empty. Only some Anbu's were running around. 'What's going on?' Little Rei asked his father. He looked all serious and clenched his fist. 'Rei-chan, you better go home and stay there. I have to take care of something.' Rei looked at him quite scared. He didn't understand what's going on. 'But father-..' 'No buts, just do it, Rei.' Still all confused and scared, he did as his father said and ran away. As Rei was out of sight, he slowed down though. Of course Rei couldn't see anything since he was blind, but he learned how to deal with it and remembered the streets, so he knew where he was. He couldn't see it but he heard how some shinobis again, came closer. Rei really wanted to know what's going on and not just walk home, pretending nothing is happening. So he stepped in front of the Anbu's that were coming closer, holding his arms up, to make them stop. Some of them ignored him, continuing running to one certain direction. One Anbu stopped in front of Rei though. 'Hey Kiddo, you better go home and make sure you're safe. It's dangerous to be outside right now.' 'What's going on??', Rei asked without reacting to what the Anbu said. 'It's none of your business, kid, go home.' 'I said WHAT IS GOING ON??!' the darkhaired boy screamed now, pressing his eye lids together. The Anbu sighed. 'It's the Uchiha's...' Immediately, Rei opened his eyes again and stared at the point where he assumed the Anbu was standing. 'The Uchiha's?', Rei asked again. 'I can't tell you anything more yet. Go home now.' That's when the Anbu ran into the same direction as the other's did.

Something was wrong with the Uchihas..but that meant it something could happen to Chou as well. Without any second thought he headed off to Chou's home. He couldn't just ignore what's going on. But it was too late. The thunder got louder and louder. The storm is getting closer. He couldn't hear anything as he arrived. He knocked against the door with both hands. 'Chou are you there??? Is everything ok???' No one was answering the door. That' when he kicked in the door and just ran into the house. Again he was calling her's and her parent's names but no one answered. 'Chou were are you???' He ran outside to the garden. 'R-..Rei..?', you could her very quietly. He turned his head into the direction where the voice came from and started running. He knew it was her. 'Chou!!'

He found her laying on the ground, along with her parents. Her parents were dead already. Rei kneeled down, holding the young Uchiha close. 'Chou..oh no, Chou, what happened..??' His eyes started to get wet. 'I...I don't know...Itachi...' 'Itachi?? It was Itachi, who did this??' Rei was overwhelmed by so many emotions. Fear. Anger. And confusion. 'L-..listen..I don't think I have much time left so..', Chou started but Rei interrupted her. 'What do you mean?? You'll be fine again!' 'Rei-chan..' The Uchiha girl started smiling a bit, caressing his cheek. '..everything will be alright..' Rei coudln't hold it back. He started crying, although he never wanted to cry in front of her. He has to be the strong one, he wasn't allowed to cry. 'It's alright Rei-chan..it's ok to cry sometimes..' 'If I only came back earlier...I could have saved you.' Rei was biting his lip. 'It's not your fault, silly.', she said, while wiping away his tears. 'If...', Rei started, '...if I could only see you proplerly one last time again.. I'd do everything..' 'Maybe you can..Rei-chan.' He looked at her with wide eyes. 'What do you mean?'

She pulled out her left eye. It was really painful, but Chou tried to ignore the pain. Her right eye got damaged in the fight, two big scratches were across it. She could still see with it but it probably won't make it for much longer. 'Take this.. it will help you to see again.' Rei didn't know what to say. He looked at her all shocked. 'Chou, why did you do that?? Baka, you mustn't do that!!' 'Just..take it..', she said, still smiling. It was still bitter to him, but he accepted her gift, transplanting his own left eye. It took a couple of blinks and it was painful as hell, blood was running out of both's eyes. But after some moments it was true. Rei could finally see her beautiful face again. 'Chou..' He started crying even more, ignoring the pain it caused. 'See..now it's all good..look at you. You've become so strong Rei-chan. You've been so strong, that you probably don't even need my sharingan..' 'You're so beautiful..' he said, while stroking her hair. It has been 3 years since Rei has lost his eyesight, so he had now idea how much Chou has grown up. '..so are you Rei-chan...can you do me one more favour?' 'Of course!' 'Can you keep this for me?' It was the medallion she used to always wear around her neck. With one hand Rei kept holding her head, with the other one he took her medallion and opened it. It was a picture of her and him. It was after Rei lost his eyesight and Chou is giving him a flower and told him how beautiful the world still is. Rei didn't know she's kept a picture of him and her for so long. He thought in the medallion would be a picture of her and her family. 'This is my last confession.', Chou said, now also having tears dripping down her cheeks. Rei has always had feelings for her but he had now idea Chou felt the same. But it was true. She loved him. She really did. And now she's dying. Rei couldn't stop crying and pressed her body against him. 'R-Rei.chan..you're hurting me..' 'I'm sorry.', he said, trying to held he less tightly. 'Chou, I promise, I will keep you safe!! You won't die!! I don't allow it!! How am I supposed to live without you??' 'Shh..Everything will be fine..Make sure you and Enoki will take care of each other. You two are the best friends..anyone could wish for.' her voice started to tremble more and more and got really sore. 'I love you Chou..' 'I love you, too, Rei-chan. I always have.' Both wear stroking each other's cheek as Rei brought his face closer to hers. Tears were running down their faces. 'Rei-chan..' Before their lips could finally touch, Chou closed her eyes and her hand slipped down to the ground. She was dead. Rei opened his eyes again as he noticed. 'No...No! Please, no! CHOU!!' He shook her body in desperation. 'NOO! CHOU, FOR GOD'S SAKE, PLEASE COME BACK TO ME!' He couldn't help but screaming. This was it. The end of the Uchiha clan. And the end of one of the most important person's for Rei. Chou'd death should change everything..
